Write to your MP about the urgent humanitarian crisis we are witnessing in Sudan. Over 14 million people have been displaced since war broke out in April 2023 and estimates say the conflict has killed more than 20,000 people and injured over 33,000.

The UK must act now to help bring about an end to the conflict in Sudan.

In particular, the United Arab Emirates (UAE) support for the Rapid Support Forces (RSF) who have been accused of war crimes in Darfur and other regions, must be examined. The UK government is a key ally of the Gulf state, and has been accused of using its diplomatic heft to put pressure on African politicians not to criticise the UAE.

The UK must call out the UAE's support for the RSF and help bring about an end to the conflict.
