We are delighted to announce that Jeremy Corbyn and Len McCluskey will be embarking on a short tour of Ireland in August to participate in various literary events.

On 3 August, Jeremy Corbyn and Len McCluskey will join the annual Hiroshima Day commemorations in Galway city centre at 2PM before participating in a poetry reading and Q&A at Charlie Byrne's Bookshop at 6PM, which will be followed by an in-store signing event.

At 2:30PM on 4 August, Jeremy and Len will be taking part in a very special poetry reading and Q&A at the Peacemakers Museum in Derry, a brand new £2.8million redevelopment and extension of the Gasyard Centre to support the local community with education, reflection and engagement with the history of the conflict and the ongoing peace process. This event will be followed by a book signing.

The short 'Poetry For The Many' tour of Ireland will conclude with two events in the city of Belfast. The first of which is a reading and Q&A at the Crescent Vitality Centre at 7PM on 5 August and the second is part of the annual Feile an Phobail, which is Ireland's biggest community arts festival.

'Poetry For The Many' Tour of Ireland

The announcement of the 2024 general election in May meant that many of our planned promotional events for Poetry For The Many were postponed. We are delighted to collaborate with Sinn Féin partners to bring these exciting literary events to towns and cities across Ireland. We look forward to announcing further events in due course.
