Peace & Justice Project's first annual conference takes place on Saturday 20 and Sunday 21 September this year and will also feature our founder Jeremy Corbyn and economist Stephanie Kelton.
Peter Oborne is an author, journalist and former political correspondent for The Daily Telegraph. He has been a voice for Palestinian liberation and has consistently called for an end to the Israeli genocide in Gaza.
Returning to London to speak at her second successive Peace & Justice Project conference event, Sara Nelson is a union leader who serves as the international president of the Association of Flight Attendants-CWA, AFL–CIO. Her contribution to International Conference was a highlight of last year's event and this year promises to be even more so as she is now working to improve workers' rights and protections in Trump's America.
We are also delighted to be joined by actress and campaigner Francesca Martinez. Francesca has been a consistent advocate for welfare reform to improve support for people living with disabilities and has also been a powerful support for protecting the NHS from outsourcing and the privatisation of public services.
National Education Union general secretary Daniel Kebede will also join our annual conference to discuss the challenges facing our teachers, learners and the wider education sector, as well as its role in developing culture and activism.
