Following the opening set from Before/After, speakers from the University of Brighton Solidarity Campaign, UCU, Brighton branch of the Palestine Solidarity Campaign, Sussex Defend The NHS and Brighton Anti-Raids addressed the energetic crowd and received excellent responses to their informative speeches which advised gig-goers how they could get involved with these campaigns.
Samuel Sweek, Music For The Many campaign lead, also addressed the crowd to highlight the plight faced by grassroots music venues around the UK and the need for an improved offer from the government for the arts to protect jobs, community assets and avoid a "generation of wasted talent".
The Peace & Justice Project is soon to announce the location city and date for the next Music For The Many gig, with the support and momentum for this campaign growing with each gig night.
