Lynks joins Pits & Perverts: 40th Anniversary concert line-up

We are delighted to announce that Lynks has joined the line-up for the upcoming Pits & Perverts: 40th Anniversary celebration in London on Monday 16 December.

Lynks, whose meteoric rise has seen them play and full UK tour and festivals such Glastonbury in the past 12 months alone, will perform as part of a line-up that includes appearances from The Oozes, our founder Jeremy Corbyn, Nadia Whittome, Owen Jones and many more, including representatives from Lesbians & Gays Support The Miners and LGSMigrants.

The Oozes were the first act announced for Pits & Perverts: 40th Anniversary concert

December's Pits & Perverts: 40th Anniversary concert will mark four decades since the 1984 original event, which brought together the LGBTQ+ and Welsh mining communities in solidarity against the oppression and demonisation of the Thatcher government.

With plenty more announcements for this one-off commemorations of strength in unity and solidarity still to come, this event promises to be one of the biggest celebrations of our movement in recent history.

As part of our Music For The Many campaign, this event promotes and champions community and the right for all to be able to experience live music in an inclusive and supportive environment.
