Lynks, whose meteoric rise has seen them play and full UK tour and festivals such Glastonbury in the past 12 months alone, will perform as part of a line-up that includes appearances from The Oozes, our founder Jeremy Corbyn, Nadia Whittome, Owen Jones and many more, including representatives from Lesbians & Gays Support The Miners and LGSMigrants.
December's Pits & Perverts: 40th Anniversary concert will mark four decades since the 1984 original event, which brought together the LGBTQ+ and Welsh mining communities in solidarity against the oppression and demonisation of the Thatcher government.
With plenty more announcements for this one-off commemorations of strength in unity and solidarity still to come, this event promises to be one of the biggest celebrations of our movement in recent history.
