lleo to headline 'A Summer To Save Music' finale in London

MFTM SUMMER (26)
Alt-pop star lleo will headline the final 'A Summer To Save Music' event at London's Lexington music venue on Saturday 16 August.

lleo is a London-based artist known for her bold, blended alt pop sound infused with emotional depth and her performance promises to be a highlight of the Music For The Many campaign.

Her tracks are catchy on the surface but delve into complex, polarised emotions, blending upbeat melodies with introspective lyrics. With a unique style dubbed "bipolar pop," lleo explores themes like mental health and identity, resonating deeply with listeners. Her 2022 EP Am I Making Sense? and 2024's wild ride showcase her distinct approach, combining energetic production with vulnerability. With over 1.7 million streams, lleo’s music offers a space for emotional connection and raw honesty in pop music.

lleo has fast become one of the UK live music scene's brightest stars, with sold-out show at London's Courtyard Theatre last year, as well as performing at The Great Escape, Reading & Leeds Festivals and BludFest in 2024.

The show, announced last week, is the latest in the campaign series calling on the government to take urgent action to protect Britain's grassroots music venues by implementing a ticket levy on the corporate sponsors of large arena and stadium concerts, and will serve as the finale to the 'A Summer To Save Music'. Before that, Native James will headline the Birmingham leg of the series at the iconic Hare & Hounds venue.
