The prospective inquiry into British involvement and cooperation in Israel's military operations in Gaza, including arms sales, surveillance, political support and use of RAF bases in the region including RAF Akrotiri in Cyprus.
Since 7 October 2023, Israel has launched an intense bombardment in Gaza, killing at least 60,000 people. The independent medical journal The Lancet has stated that the actual death toll may be closer to 200,000 due to famine, disease and those unaccounted for and lost under the rubble.

The Gaza Inquiry Bill seeks to bring about truth, justice and accountability for those responsible for the horrors inflicted on the Palestinian people trapped in Gaza, where humanitarian aid has been routinely withheld by Israeli forces. Israeli ministers have regularly spoken of their intention to ethnically-cleanse Gaza of Palestinians which, despite being an egregious breach of international law, has been supported by US president Donald Trump.
The British government's lack of action to prevent genocide in Gaza is unforgivable. That is why we must reveal the truth behind one of the greatest crimes against humanity.
